About Maroon Bells
The Maroon Bells are the most photographed mountains in North America and they’re even more beautiful in person. The Maroon Bells create a glacial valley surrounding Maroon Lake in the White River National Forest that amaze Dr. Butterfield and her staff every time they go. The Maroon Bells are best reached by one of the bus tours or a non-motorized vehicle during the summer. While the road to Maroon Bells is closed in winter it can still be reached on a snowmobile tour. For more information on transportation and dates, visit http://www.aspenchamber.org.
