IPL

What Is IPL?

When you are bothered by how your skin appears because of dark spots or sun damage, our team at Mount Sopris Plastic Surgery Center can perform a skin consultation at our office in Glenwood Springs, CO to determine if you qualify for IPL (intense pulsed light) therapy. An IPL photofacial is a treatment that rejuvenates the skin for adult women and men with hyperpigmentation and vascular issues on their face and neck.

Dr. Jennifer Butterfield and her staff use intense wavelengths of light energy that raise the temperature of the skin to set off the natural regeneration process and boost collagen production. Over time, you should begin to see a healthier layer with a more even tone and less spots of pigmentation.
