Sarah Davis, MPAS, MBA, PA-C - Physician Assistant

Meet Sarah Davis

Sarah Davis, MBA, PA-C is a physician assistant at Mount Sopris Plastic Surgery with extensive medical, surgical, and injecting experience. Working side by side with Dr. Butterfield in the operating room gives her the unique, hands-on experience and knowledge of facial anatomy necessary to be a skilled injector and clinician. “I believe it’s critical to have a clinician who knows and understands anatomy of the face in order to provide safe and aesthetically beautiful facial correction and contouring. Many injectors don’t have the benefit of operating room experience to guide their work and help them improve their skillset. I really enjoy having the ability to talk through cutting edge techniques and approaches with Dr. Butterfield and I think that benefits my patients too. I believe in a very natural approach to beauty and in using up-to-date methods to give the best possible outcomes to my patients.”

Prior to working with Mount Sopris Plastic surgery, Sarah had extensive experience with procedures in both the orthopedic and urgent care setting, giving her a broad spectrum of capabilities and knowledge. Sarah’s medical aesthetic experience allows her to provide beautiful outcomes using Botox, all Juvederm products, Belotero, PRP, as well as skin resurfacing and skin tightening laser treatments.

After completing an MBA, Sarah followed a non-traditional path into medicine. Her successful decade-long business career notwithstanding, she followed her heart and entered into physician assistant studies at the University of Colorado. She is able to consistently apply her business experience and education into her work in medicine and is often called on to help with process improvement, efficiency, productivity, and other areas where research and strategic planning acumen are needed.

Sarah and her family moved to the Roaring Fork Valley seeking the simpler mountain lifestyle. They value the skiing opportunities in particular, but also spend leisure time on the hiking and biking trails. Husband Steve is an Aspen-based architect and former ski racer, and the couple are parents to a daughter and their eleven-year-old Australian Shepherd hiking buddy.
